Well they did it! Not long after Oceanic Airlines announced that the search for Flight 815 was completed and that they would be declaring all the passengers dead, the Sydney Morning Herald of December 24th 2004 reported that Flight 815 had been found in the Sunda Trench and had been video taped by robotic deep sea submersibles.
These guys must have access to Portal #S-01. We all know what happened in the Sunda Trench on December 26th 2004. Yup - the huge earthquake and tsunami. Anyone going looking to confirm the findings reported of the Flight 815 wreckage after the 26th will not find anything and it is explainable as the ocean floor opened up and 'swallowed' the wreckage.
You gotta give these guys credit for ingenuity.
